the unfairly much criticised final instalment of the X Men trilogy is on C4 at eight.
Personally I think this X-Men series was pretty much perfect in the way it translated the ideas and themes of the the comics onto the big screen while adapting them sufficiently so that the movies made sense as stand alone movies separate from the comics. Like Nolans Batman movies.
This film is the most 'comicy' of the series and in make such an obvious leap from the more reality based nature of the first two it's a funny change in tone. It up scaling of the conflict makes sense in terms of where the series arc was going but it could've been handled a bit better.
Main Geek Criticism - the new characters they've brought in to fill out the ranks of the Brotherhood of Mutants are shit.
