Who would you buy?
although £20m would probably only buy his left leg at this point
Most teams should want Arteta though I'd say.
And with the £19m leftover I'd make all the pies and bovril free for supporters.
My favourite United player. Works harder than the rest of their side put together, and has a great shot on him.
Ferguson doesn't realise what a good player he's got.
or just blow the lot on Silva, do you reckon he could be bought for £20m? It might take about £25m.
Joaquin is another option, he would probably cost around £14m which isn't leaving much left over. Could get Sturridge for £6 though, easily.
and I support Chelsea by the way, which is why I wasn't prepared to just go for "decent Premiership players".
£10m - £14m realistically. If Sturridge was to cost £6m and Valencia £14m obviously that's the 20 million gone. Either way you're only going to be left with about £5-6m left, maximum. Which I didn't really know what to do with.
Valencia is £18m+.
no wonder spurs are in the shit
and valencia is only slightly better than lennon
surely it's obvious there's better deals abroad? you could buy nearly anyone for £18m, paying that for someone as inconsistent as valencia is absolute madness
that bringing in a player from abroad is a better idea.
spurs spent £17m on bentley for christ's sake
why not spend that much on a scouting network?
And re: Valencia, I think Wigan could easily make the most of the supposed interest from Man U and Real to force the price up to £18m. I'm not sure what that has to do with Spurs though.
certainly in the middle of the season anyway. at least you can be sure palacios can play well at premiership pace.
in the summer though spurs always pay over the odds.
although i'd say palacios could easily become a 14million player, he just isn't yet. spurs would've been better off buying cattermole.
£14m should be more than enough, if we couldn't get him for that much, I wouldn't want him.
i think with his expertise in my back-room staff we couldn't help but win every game by between 15 and 20 goals
i'd buy 5 million pigfoots
I blame Gordon Ramsey.
...I'd do everything in my power to get Yaya Toure.
looks very promising
Lorik Cana - £10 million
Sylvan Ebanks-Blake - £5 million
Michael Johnson - £5 million
20 million bid on rudi skacel, paul wootton and wayne thomas of southampton. get rid of their overpaid crap and help their bank balance
someone listen to this man
and then possibly to take a contract out on his life. What the fuck is that man doing with our defence during training sessions?
Assuming there is £16m or so left, I wouldn't spend it on Valenica. I like him, but I don't think he's better than anyone at Chelsea. A decent attacking left-sided midfielder is a must, because Florent Malouda is a useless sack of shit. Bastian Schweinsteiger is someone I've always liked the look of, not sure what sort of fee he'd command though.
Obertan ( Lorient on loan from Bordeaux ), Moussa Sow ( Rennes ) and Coutadeur ( Le Mans ).
is there a worse forward in the championship?
which there should be, i'd give st. ledger a go in the premiership
I doubt there would be anything left.
wow, my bad
