please recommend me some novels/authors from actually around now who I can get into. I think i've been trying too much to get educated on "the canon" and have possibly missed out some stuff. What that's around now will be regarded as a classic in the future?
The most modern thing i've read for a while was Lanark and I adored it, it'll probably be in my top 5. thanks. educate me.
