This whole thing is a joke right, like nobody knew that it would actually happen. Throughout the 'boom' years not one bank thought 'oh shit we are actually giving out more money than we are making,' no one in the UK government sought advice from an economic expert or even suspected that they way the global economy was being run was floored. I just feel that alot of people have gotten off scot free simply because the whole crisis is difficult to understand. I mean I wish the government would stop acting like the fucking saviours of the free world instead of owning up to the fact that they should have done something earlier, does anyone else agree?
