There are two people standing on the street talking. One of them has a dog on a lead, a terrier style thing.
A woman is walking towards them with two similar dogs on leads. When she is about 20 feet away she stops, and stretches her arms horizontally by her sides and holds the pose for 5 seconds or so. The pair talking have not noticed her.
She advances a few more paces, shortens her adjustable dog leads, and repeats the arms thing. The pair still don't notice. All dogs concerned are looking very perky and excited.
She could cross the road to avoid incident, but instead approaches the couple. The dogs exchange arse sniffs, the owners exchange dog owner pleasantries, and the woman moves on with her dogs.
why?
