Is everyone post-Christmas brassic or out doing fun stuff?
tonight i'm going to go out somewhere. maybe a party, maybe a gig. we'll see.
tomorrow for some reason we're going to go ice skating. i can't ice skate. potential for funny day.
tomorrow night, probably go to a gig. maybe pub. maybe practice. i just don't know!
I am finishing up here in about two hours, then going home to do some shopping and sort some bits out. My plan for tonight is to head to the Miller to see a couple of friends’ bands (American Gods, Richard Peter Snapes and We Are Power), but to get home early as I have to be in Hertford to play hockey by 10.30 on Saturday morning.
I was going to head out for a couple of drinks afterwards and then maybe out to How Does It Feel, but the pre-paycheck January blues and our upcoming holiday mean that everyone else is dropping out.
If it goes ahead, I should be able to join in and play football on Sunday.
American Gods that is.
Best novel ever.
and upcoming holiday to where?
There are closer teams, but I know all the guys there and most of the matches are actually in north London anyway.
And the holiday is to Whistler, in Canada, for a friend's 30th. I'm hella psyched!
It was minus 25 degrees the other week - in the day.
- It's normal, field Hockey. I'm crap, and only started playing it last season when I was marooned at my parents' house and couldn't get to play for my five-a-side team. I enjoy it though, and it gets me running about.
to use up the kitty that we had been saving for bibs and balls. then tomorrow i should go and get a new pair of jeans. then tomorrow night i am playing poker and on sunday going to aberdeen - celtic.
in amongst all that i'll probably be trying to sort out stuff with the lady.
what time do we need to be there?
Taking photos of Manchester landmarks tomorrow for work (weather permitting) then off to watch Glossop Vs Stuart Lloyd with some other DiSers and probably a few beers.
Tomorrow- off to Stamford Bridge, probably to watch a frustrating draw. Then dinner with some mates, drink and possibly on to one of Leicester Square's less exclusive comedy clubs

Tomorrow night I am meeting a girl for some wine.
Tomorrow: Hendon v Canvey Island

Sunday: Bit more sleep, then off to watch the 3 colours trilogy at the riverside studios, all for only £7.50!

Saturday - PLYMOUTH HO!
Sunday - SUNDY
I haven't been drunk since ATP which was over a month ago (I think I've finally recovered), I've had a shit day at work and I'm feeling the urge to get annihilated. Other than that I'm not doing much else, saving up for my friend's wedding in two weeks.
It's in Portswood, Ugly Duckling are playing who are supposed to be quite good...?
sunday 1230-830 work oh and monday tuesday wednesday thursday and friday WORK!
seeing the lady. Friday night will mostly be drunk, Saturday hungover and sunday rather dreadding monday.
you take along any decent jewellery, clothes or shoes you no longer want and everyone takes their pick. Anything not taken at the end of the night goes to charity. I doubt I'll find anything I like.
Houses, cars, pets, children, partners, etc?
Because of this Sean can't afford to pay people to fix the threads.
If I draw anymore structures of steroids I'm gonna cry.
tomorrow, hopefully pubtime

all the inbetween times, fretting about exams and life in general.
And then a friends housewarming on saturday in camberwell, and finally sleep on sunday.

sunday - church and early to bed with a good book
It's a friend's birthday so going to CockSoup at the Star of Bethnal Green
Tomorrow I want to see either the Wrester or Slumdog (maybe both?) and then going to Bloomsbury Bowling for my flatmate's birthday. Karaoke booked for 11pm. Good times.
Sunday I'm going to my mum's for a roast.
I see it every time I go to Tesco and can't decide if it looks fun or a wank fest
it used to be and has a good atmosphere. I like it.
There's a free gig on Sunday, some sort of Summer Sundae preview, for which the lineup is: local band I've never heard of, local band I've never heard of, local band I've never heard of, Sunset Cinema Club. local band I've never heard of, local band I've never heard of. I have no idea what SCC are doing in the middle of a free local bill at a folk/blues/acoustic club, and it's on their Myspace so it's not a clerical error. Only issue is I have no idea what time it's on.
Tomorrow=Football followed by a birthday party in a bar *shudder*
Sunday= QUIET DAY
Possibly pub for a couple.
Then wathching old films, perhaps bake some bread and cook some food.
Tomorrow, clean car. Make curry. Tidy house. Chop wood.

So yes, post Christmas skint and trying desparately to save.

Now I'm going to 'spoons in holborn then on to camden's wonderful good mixer!
I might go to VCD Athletic v Marske United in the FA Vase tomorrow. It's near Crayford apparently, which I can access fairly easily. Depends how bored I get.
You going along?

I can't be arsed to research.
On whitehall, just round the corner from Westminsiter station. 5:30
I'll wear a suit, just for you x
*until Sarah turns up.

That's an exclusive club I have no wish to join.
I gots a balcony, bitches. Ever wanted to join the 15-storeys-high club?
It's got a half-dead Christmas tree on it!!!!
of your neighbour's rubbish-strewn balcony, right?
The nearest thing as you look out is the Barbican, a few hundred metres away. And I can see the City, St Paul's, the Oxo Tower, Tate Modern, the Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Battersea Power Station... I'll stop now, as I'm getting an overwhelming urge to punch myself.
my friend used to live on that road. Good work!
i'm v happy. flatmates seem really nice. TWO CATS! close to work as well. woohoo!
have to move in on the 24th, which means i can go to zonino after all!
and have a go at making my first ever AMV. Will probably take me more than a weekend though. I'm bad at that kinda stuff.
set to The Final Countdown
I'm going to do a super emotionally charged Code Geass one. Because there totally aren't enough of those already. But none of them are right. So I'm going to make a better one. Apart from then I'll get to the end bit and break down and cry and get depressed and delete it all. I hate Sunrise.
it works on SO MANY LEVELS
And has fans that don't make you wish that the events in the latter would actually play out.
Where you chop up scenes from anime and put them to music, basically.
hopefully gonna see 'The Armature of the Absolute' tomorrow with the lady at the barbican, looks brilliant http://www.barbican.org.uk/theatre/event-detail.asp?ID=8200, but we do need to queue for returns. Did this OK with delirium, but that was a week night and it's never fun anyway. Probably see a film if that fails.
football on sunday probably, unless my muscle's still knackered, some drinks with some old friends tonight, got a mate (and housemate to be) coming over tomorrow morning too. But plans are yet to be made in general.
Maybe lots of cleaning etc, got a mad weekend coming up the one after this.
but yes, I have already informed those who need to know that I will be unavailable for their advances on monday night
you going to zonino?
i miss punching you.
yeah, amongst other things, zonininononinoino.
I guess you'll find out more NEXT TIME on THE WEEKEND THREAD
i promise to never punch you again if you stop having such a stupid scrunchy smelly face.
Chicken and chips at 4am? No problem.
saturday's plans have fallen through. don't mind that much 'cause i've had a busy week, and next weekend's going to end up quite expensive. and i have job applications to do. so it's not so bad
possibly entertaining a 5 year old.

Tonight - Tearing Westminsiter a new one
Tommorow - Work then meeting some old friends in Islington for drinks and stuff.
