I was going to post Kim Gordon rocking those roots and fifths, but then I remembered YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME.
Only uncultured swine are prejudiced against a mere playing technique.

they might even be rated on my bands thing on here. oh fuck.
This truly ecplises that misconception, in comparison to The Metros, The Ordinary Boys are visionaries.
I want my 3.40 odd seconds back!
To be fair, if this was 40 years ago, I'd give 'em a pass. Maybe.

Buckethead always brings the laughs. I was listening to Praxis the other day actually - you got any of that stuff?
does he play bass on it at all? Total freak but amazing, he should like tour with Primus for a bit or something, that'd be awesome.
He plays guitars.
It's a real odd-ball band: Bass is split between Bill Laswell (who also produces) and Bootsy Collins. Brain is on drums. Mike Patton, John Zorn, Les Claypool and Iggy Pop drop in from time to time also.
As you'd expect the style of music is a mish-mash of funk, ambient, metal and turntablism, and it doesn't always work, but it's interesting stuff nonetheless and for musicianship you can't fault it.
