one stop earlier than you should as part of your daily "healthy lifestyle" so you can get some walking in?
to go for a jog later or something.
although I'm plenty active enough without doing so. As it is, I probably get about 3 buses a year instead.
i routinely walk instead of getting the bus
but it's generally so I get more 'thinking' time in. Walking clears my head.
and each week or so start getting off a stop further away. i have actually done this with trains to the point where i was walking from strathclyde uni to anniesland daily
I either walk all the way or get a bus all the way. You wouldn't get in your car and park it 500 yards from where you were going just to get a walk in.
looks like a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG road.
And a real bastard if you're trying to get out of Glasgow to the North during rush hour.
I live in London myself but I've got an Uncle who lives about 2 hours north of Glasgow so have spent a fair bit of time there and around there whilst visiting him.
in the evenings.
but yeah, great western road is a cunt
Walking directions to Dorchester Ave, Glasgow, Glasgow City G12, UK
3.9 mi – about 1 hour 22 mins.
Save it for a proper run later.
Those fifty-odd yards mean I'm fit as a fiddle.
One stop on a bus won't do much.
I might start getting a bus to half an hour's walk from my work and walking the last half hour.
because it arrives quicker than the one which drops me off at the door.
But I usually take advantage of passing the supermarket on this longer route and buy some beer, so it probably doesn't help...
- it would mean getting up 10 mins earlier
- it's fucking cold out there
That's a no from you?
if I wanted to be healthy I'd go out for a bike ride or something instead. Getting off a stop earlier isn't going to make a jot of difference.
