apart from wanting to talk to girls at bus stops, etc
this is my extremely interesting story:
i was sat in the cafeteria at the students union, and my position in the room was such that everyone who walked into the room would spot me, and i would spot most of them. after a while i see out of the corner of my eye a familiar retarded haircut and general pose. i am not on talking terms with this idiot. i don't turn around, but this person has clearly noticed me and gives me the same kind of look-without-looking. we both do this a couple of times. him and his friends then proceed to sit down at a table which is positioned so that i am basically facing them directly from where i am sat. i was reading or on the laptop so had something else to focus on. now, the awkwardness lies in the fact that we are both aware of each other's presence in this room, we both know that the other person knows we're there, but neither wants to acknowledge it. i had a lot of my belongings spread out on the table so although i tried to gather them together as discreetly as possible, i don't think it was very succesful and it took a long time (relatively speaking) and then i stood up and left quickly. again, i wish i was a little bit shorter, so i wouldn't be quite as easily noticeable. i spent the next twenty minutes thinking up rude responses to any text messages i might recieve, but have not had to use any of them. yet.
don't worry, i don't expect anyone to read all of that.
your turn to share, dis.
