Imagine if we'd just had Youtube back then.
the one with Phil Alexander (who I met once and regretfully told him I thought his presenting needed work) was called Pop Down the Pub. It was funny, featuring people off low-rent UK metal and rock acts like Rachel Stamp being pissed on a sofa. Just wouldn't get made now.
Noisy Mothers was hosted by Krusher when I saw it. I think they were floating on a sofa "in space".
here is Krusher interviewing Devin Townsend. I had forgotten what a wacky fellow he was.
Also featuring Steve Vai.
Used to tape it when it was called 'Raw Power'. Some (ie 'most') weeks I'd just end up fast forwarding through a whole hour of hair-metal videos.

with Vanessa thingymajig
...ex of Ricky Warwick of The Almighty.
Headbangers Ball was a much better show though. Their Monsters Of Rock coverage used to be really extensive. I think I've still got the 1994 one on tape somewhere with Pantera, Sepultura, Aerosmith and loads of others.
Shame they ended up getting rid of it and replacing it with SuperRock (I think that was what it was called) with the attractive blonde Scandanavian woman who knew nothing about rock music and was quite possinly the worst television host I have ever seen.
I miss the old MTV Europe days...
Strumpets and boozers. They don't make em like that any more
The sofa with the wizzing stars in the background. Crusher with his dog Bulleye (if I'm not wrong). Hair metal bands being interviewed. Yeah. Cool.
Then I used to watch Get Stuffed.
