a group of my friends at university refer to each other as 'nigger', using the word as a greeting etc. they are all either british muslim or british hindu (a bombay mix of each, if you will). i believe this is weird in a way, as if they are taking on another cultures mannerisms as their own. do you think the use of the word is inappropriate?
