like more pleasant tory mandelson
He can sod right off. We don't need him.
He's been Chancellor, even Shadow Chancellor is a comedown, but Shadow anything else seems a bit junior for someone who was once so powerful.
I hope he stays away, we don't need the Europe debate resurfacing, and it will if he comes back - Labour are bound to milk it.
Apparently George Osborne suggested it himself.
it's not just football where we're in the know
I'm voting veritas.
so shut up and go away
eventually our economy'll be so ruined that Cameron is forced to beg the frogs and the krauts to let us in
cameron's gonna use and abuse clarke for his experience. then when everything's sorted, he can sling his hook.
it'll be the tories that do it
it'll be the tories that don't do it
don't want to lose our precious british bulldog pound do we?
or are you playing along?
if so: yeah.
if not: yeah (not to the nerve bit, but to the bulldog bit)
I like this: "I'm Michael Crick, and I'm Newsnight's political editor. My guiding rule is that in any story there's usually something the politicians would prefer the world not to know. My job is to find that out."
When I say I like it I mean I find it insufferable.
It probably doesn’t sound so twattish if it’s accompanied by a series of quick camera cuts, close ups and pans showing Michael Crick stood in a dark room wearing a suit.
