finding a new doctor

hows does one do this? simply find a surgery, phone uo and say, "can i be join?". or is it more complicated?

  • This is precisely what I did.

    Choose the one that's closest, phone them up. www.NHS.uk has a location finder via postcode I think

  • find one near your house and phone them

    usually no problem

    they might get you to piss in a bottle on your first visit but that's it

  • it will be more complicated in that semi formed sentences,

    such as "can i be join" will most likely have them asking you if you need a polish interpreter. once you've got the other 3 or 4 words needed to round the request off though, you should be fine.
