Our manager told us today that, 200 graduates applied for a job in our department over xmas for a job similar to what i do (a non-graduate).

The post was only advertised on our own website, no agencies, yet still received 200 response from highly qualified men and women..who I presume are in quite a bit of debt (mostly).

A person was hired. They have a masters in Economics.
They (the best of 200 graduates) will start on less money than me.

I have considered going to Uni, this made me reconsider that option again.
