it makes me feel bad but i really enjoy the show
(I've not seen much of it, though.)
but then im mega-streetz
I had to have the subtitles on for the first few episodes - you get used to it though.
You'll know you've succeeded when you can understand what Snoop is talking about without rewinding a couple of times to check first.
i come from wembley and i used to live in harlesden. i'm well versed in gangsta.
but now that I've got to grips with his 'lingo' its plain sailing
but I've watched them all to many times now so it's easy to follow now.
I heard a grime tune last night that sample Omar's whistle when he is wandering thru to do a bit of killing.
The Virgin 'TV on demand' thingy currently has the first season available to watch, which according to them is 6 episodes. This can't be right, right? Would imagine there are at least 10.
at least 12 in season 1
12 or 13 as there is a pilot episode too
but those on demand channels always filter the series a few episodes at a time.
HBO on demand are evil enough to start culling the start of a season before the end is available.
Well having watched all 6 available I'm now concerned I've missed something vitally important. Must be the credit contraction etc..
Or is it just confusing you?
The first episode is the one where Rawls meets McNulty and shows him the finger twice and says "These are for you, McNulty..." so if you've seen that I'd guess you've watched the first six in order.
It was just your previous comment about 'filtering the series' made me wonder if they had even bothered to put them in order! Fortunately having seen the 'fingers' episode first I must clearly be on the right track. It's now a question of whether I bother waiting for Virgin to make the other 6/7 episodes available to watch or find other means.
Entourage on HBO on Demand seems to update every few days with some new episodes whereas WB TV will stick up a series of 22 episodes in three blocks of roughly 6, 5 and 11 episodes.
Check over the next week to see if they add more episodes as they are bound to do so.
That said, it's fucking addictive and you'll end up buying them all anyway so maybe just get the 5 season box set.
To be honest I'm addicted already and will probably go for the latter option!
That is merely more evidence that Virgin TV-on-Demand is a shower of shit.
i've just finished season one and will start watching season two soon.
i like it when they say "sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet"
and still use the subtitles :( mainly out of habit now though.
