........and no job. The loan sharks are going to turn my front door to sawdust. Anyone else in a similiar predicament?
so no. Sorry.
Living in scotland they can't really do that. can't you pay it off over a period of time?
All the money I have is for luxuries such as eating and drinking.
I didn't really think about the consequences
Your parents must be ecstatic
And yeah, she is. I'm the apple of her eye.
Jobs are only good in stable families
This aint happening
the experience of being away from home, plunged in at the deep end is probably the best bit about uni life. I've met some amazing people and great friends, as well as learned a hell of a lot. It also helps you grow up in terms of looking after your own place.
I got a bit of help with rent from my dad in first year. Second year I paid for everything myself and took on two/three part time jobs to keep afloat. I didn't think most students get that much stuff paid for? Well, apart from the loans obv.
Fair enough, that would be deep end, but still for an 18 year old who's going to another city, moving in with people they don't know and maybe won't like, pretty hairy.
i'm just not too aware of anyone who does what you say. Having said that, it would make sense seeing as a hell of a lot of my mates at uni don't have jobs...
I really don't think I'd have enjoyed uni if I still had to live at home- even people I knew who weren't in halls said that they found it a bit harder to integrate. I know that if I was at home the nagging from the parents about studying all the time would have been unbearable, I'd rather have gone straight into work.
but sometimes there isn't an option to stay at home. Quite a lot of courses are only run by a few universities or often the local ones either have a high tarrif or aren't up to the standard that you want for your education. If I'd gone to any that I could afford to commute to from home and done a similar course, my degree would be virtually worthless. Far too simplistic to say that you could just commute.
If you don't mind my asking.
to say that I will have paid off all of my student loan come April.
and I don't live there.
You should make your own Mr.Men book
if i were you id sell everything you can on ebay to pay them off asap and speak to friends and move back home if ur not at home already. These volentary insolvancys will eat you in the future despite how vogue they are.
........now my second installment of the loan will be used to pay off some of overdraft......but that still leaves me in the black
In the black means positive money. Unless you meant you'd be in credit, in which case......as you were :D
take £300 (maybe £350) form yr loan and declare bankrupcy, only works if you don't own any property and you will be blacklisted for five years and can only bank with The Co-Op or barclays, but it means all dbets cleared, actually maybe not student debt!
arent written off,any cash you have in other accounts will also be seized and paid to your creditors.
Also if it's just a debt collection agency and you havent received either hand delivered/recorded delivery citation from your local court then they can whistle for it as they havent exhausted all the legal channels yet
just focus all your anger on this image and then use that energy to find a job
look at him liam....gurgling in his scotch brogue
'oh, so ye baut all me series did ye...and noow yu gut nae monay...silly sod int ye?
It was one boxset......the rest was spent on living and travelling.
