Perhaps I'm not the right demographic to enjoy it, considering I'm not old enough to have nostalgia for the old days of Tom Baker and such, and not young enough to happily swallow its ludicrous plot explanations, but I really just don't get it.

Tennant is a fine actor and all, but Russell T. Davis can fuck right off. On Screenwipe he compained about script writers who use obvious exposition, then he has the gall to produce this Christmas episode which had ten whole minutes of the Doctor giving a pathetic explanation to David Morrisey of how he lost his memory.

And for BBC One's flagship family drama, it has terrible production values.

Oh, and no one mention Blink. Yes, it was good, but it was hardly representative of Doctor Who as a whole considering he was barely in it.
