the real highlight of Christmas 2008
This is definately the TV highlight of christmas though
then it referenced the whole 'Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb' bit from Batman the Movie and now I LOVE it =D
i wish it was longer
Not as good as A Close Shave, but very little is
some how completely passed me by
but not good either... just meh
but yes, you are right. The penguin in that is far and away one of the scariest TV creations.
the others were all fucking immense, think about the toy train scene, the motorbike + sidecar scene etc. from the other ones.
this one had nothing memorable in it.
rather than the more inventive stuff in the previous two half hour episodes ... but that doesn't stop this from being the most entertaining and well crafted (and all round best) piece of original programming this holiday season
don't remember any of the main set pieces, there was lots of going back and forth running around, but no brilliant long-running gags.
A Grand Day Out is made by that really weird machine thing, and the fact that it's really really low budget.
Wrong Trousers is made by the Penguin and the train set piece
Close Shave was made by the driving scene and the fact that Preston was fucking geniusly evil.
todays one didn't have the right characters, the other dog didn't add enough to the story and the enemy wasn't scary, just really annoying. and surely there's got to be a better threat than a bomb.
the other dog might've been more sympathetic
was The Royle Family. *something about prison bringing people together*.
that episode was great.
"And to think he hasnt passed an exam in his life..."
i did come close to pissing myself on that bit and where he was kicking the frozen turkey along the floor with his feet...
But some on here would moan about anything
people who moaning about it have no soul & I was COMPLETELY sober whilst watching it, so it means my opinion MUST be more valid then a handfull of people on here. The reference to Batman was hallarious.
