Why Hallelujah must now die

simon_t [Edit] [Delete] 09:00, 21 December '08

There is much to ponder in today's Sunday Times, not least the story about Amazon - last week the paper ran an expose about harsh working practices at their central warehouse. Bosses at the plant attempted to organise a response which consisted of pressuring 200 staff to bare their arses for a retaliatory photo. Many of those staff went straight to the Sunday Times.

But there, in the Focus pages, is Roland White writing several new updated verses for Hallelujah. They're as good as you'd imagine a pissed off hack writing an 'amusing' "what if Hallelujah was, rather than about the spiritual quest for enlightenment, a clumsy satire of modern Britain?" piece. http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/music/article5375715.ece
