Would these be:
a) Nice presents for my sister
b) Ridiculously overpriced presents for my sister
but if she does then sure. how old is she?
That would be ridiculous. One or the other. Or neither.
but it's not that amazing ://////
You're a girl.
they're a teeny bit '12 year old going to the school disco' for me though
what kind of stuff does she usually like? if she has sparkly stuff and butterfly shaped stuff, then you're onto a winner. If not, maybe reconsider.
I'm pretty sure she'll like them both; it's more the price which is an issue. Especially since my mum's paying because I don't have any money lololol
what did you do?
Zapsta seems to have hogged the lot...
Good for you!
i would take her out on a date for christmas
go for the one that isn't ALMOST FIFTY POUNDS, yeah?
but you can't really get anything worthwhile for that money.
Ill cobble you together some like those for half the price
(Disclaimer: will not look anything like those/ resemble anything anyone would like, ever.)
this is a cute thread
but they are ridiculously overpriced.
but TOO SPENSIVE. especially cos it's just a box.
i like this one http://www.butlerandwilson.co.uk/giftideas/showitem.asp?3190,0,11,0,0 get rich and buy that
I think I'm just going to go into Harrow this weekend and have a looksy. With my MUM.
..but they do look a bit overpriced if I'm honest!
Not to my knowledge, anyway. But I said to my mum, "Mum, does Amy (Amy's the name of my sister) wear hair clips?" and she said "Yeah, sometimes," so I said "Okay, COOL". It was more me trying get something a bit different which looks pretty, and yeah, she does change her hair every other day (she's a hair dresser), so I thought this would be good (y).
I definitely would if I had the money, but seeing as I have to borrow the money off my mum, and there's a fair chance I'll never pay her back, I'd feel a bit bad convincing her to give me that much, unless everyone here had said "THAT'S AMAZING VALUE FOR MONEY! DEFINITELY GET IT!" which they haven't :'(
I only said that to to Cat because she is a massive indie.
when buying hair accessories is how does it fasten to your sister's hair?
If she has super thin hair and it's a shitty comb, then forget it. I've been given so many things like that over the years which are great, but well, you really struggle to actually work with.
I'd suggest going into a Swarovski shop and having a good look at stuff in their... for that price range.
It's a great idea... but well, unless you know if it's going to work in the hair, it could be a futile attempt... (sorry)
Thanks for the honest, useful, constructive advice.
they're gonna get all bits of hair caught in them and hurt the minute the wind blows.
And by "you", I mean the entire female population.
