ebay feedback - are you cut-throat or pushover?
i bid for and won an item on 5 Dec, paid for it immediately. The seller emailed me on 11 December saying "sorry I have been away on business all week - will post your item on saturday morning [13 dec]."
having not recieved it by today, I emailed him again and he said that he had been struck down by "chronic sciatica" and could not post it until yesterday, first class. Apparently it should be with me definitely today or tomorrow.
Now that is fine as its a christmas present and as long as its on time for the big day i dont mind. but this is very slow, and inconsistent service, and part of me wants to leave negative feedback.
on the other hand, he has 100% positive so far and i would feel a bit un-necessarily mean ruining his record, especially as he was ill (btw what is chronic sciatica?).
What would you do?
