The only semi-nice one round there is water rats but you have to pay in. Is there anywhere else?
on Northdown Street
Walk past Water Rats (towards Holborn, away from Kings X), Harrisson St is on your right, it's two minutes down there. It's nice.
asking not to have refuse pickups between dec 24th and jan 6th. i wonder if that means they're closed over christmas? seems a bit strange.
They only really get any custom from the suits working around Kings Cross, don't they?
all the locals go to that pub on the corner with gray's inn road and glare at anyone non-local who walks in
one of my favourite pubs in london : )
and I was almost certain it'd be you.
I saw this book in Waterstone's today, singing the Flying Scotsman's praises: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rough-Pub-Guide-Celebration-British/dp/0752898876
something like 'best pub in Britain', with no accreditation, written in chalk.
rather than them splashing out on a plaque or something. I suppose the pint glass of 50p's only had enough for chalk after the rest was spent on crack and a dildo replacement.
I know of no other place classy enough to have used pink dildo's outside for the bin men to collect with the rubbish bags.
with books you can borrow!
on York Way is lovely.
Heavy Metal cellar, transexual barmaid, comedy nights
it stretches the definition of 'near Kings Cross' though so I didn't suggest it. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere/rougher bit of Barnsbury really.
I thought she was just old
I suppose that's the only reason anyone would book Scarlet Soho to play.
