they always do better than expected. Always. So many people are resentful of Brown for his ineffective nature and his propping up of decadent bankers.
An idiot who's going to fiddle the economy into a 20 year slump and leave the middle east to burn after lighting the fire, or an idiot who's friends with Boris Johnson and David Ross and thinks that we should stop spending any money and cut back on public services.
The Tories will win. Because he's young, a family man, aggressive and passionate. And completely wrong about everything. He actually makes me squirm with his public schoolboy shouty I'm better than you debating skills. But that appeals to a lot of people who will vote and who hate debt and borrowing.

At least he's claiming optimism, as opposed to realism, I spose.
I disagree with pretty much every single thing he says.

not that you can argue against such things with just words. It remains to be seen whether any leader can actually turn ideas like these into popular policy.
We're having our hardwired emotional reactions to danger turned against us by the media. How can our judgements of risk and threat in everyday life work properly when we're being bombarded by reminders of isolated incidents that happened hundreds of miles away? That's bad enough; but we're increasingly seeing politicians drawing off these issues in the media.
