Does anyone have any strong opinions on this?
it will extend its shelf life, but it might reduce the flavour a bit.
after the first 120 posts in that thread I was unable to see any more. Fucking IE6.

Go into the thread and tack /linear on the end of the URL.
however it would have to be at an EXTREMELY low temperature.
never open a beer that's been in the freezer, badness ensues.
So it must have been about -27C in there.
The main issue is the alcohol defrosts first so if you drink it neat like I decided to, straight from the freezer, you get VERY VERY drunk.
I thought you were just saying it couldn't be frozen at all, apologies.

just look at the replies in the other thread, if you can bare to scroll through it! there are links to articles saying it's ok.
otherwise moisture will get in and ruin the beans.
Apparently coffee is made from magic beans that are totally unaffected by such things. Strange, huh?
Remember, they are dry places.
A sealed container within a freezer will not start creating water.
but I have never seen an internet argument where one side is so comprehensively destroyed. By SCIENCE no less.
