the best television show of the 90s?
I THINK SO
I wish they would relese dvds with the original soundtracks
series 1 is probably my favourite series of tv ever, after the 4 LOSTs.
so they replaced alot of it with cheap imitations, it is especially noticible in parts involving the radio station and at the bar. The 1st season DVD has the correct music but the rest dont, its really annoying when dvd companies think they can skimp on such an important part of the show, I recorded alot of them when it was on itv2, if I find a channel showing them I might try and record them all
we've got loads of VHS tapes. I don't have anything that plays videos anymore though
I can't say i've noticed any dip in the music quality later on, but it will be interesting to compare
on the post season 2 dvd its not all of the music but some of it, sometimes where it should be some old blugrass recording it sounds like lift music
I watched Northern Exposure when it was on 4 but tired of it after a couple of seasons.
in the first season of northern exposure they look into the next town with a telescope and make many references to twin peaks whilst twin peaksy music plays, the pilot of twin peaks was filmed in the next town over from where northern exposure was filmed. Northern Exposure is great until doctor fleischman leaves but its final episode is great too.
was 80s, but evidently not. i am quite excited about watching it. but i want to watch both series and series 2 seems impossible to find.
I must have been watching Northern Exposure when I was 15-16. Maybe should give it another go at some stage.
or if you need a region 2 one you can get it from the german amazon
several reasons most of which involve being unemployed at the time and having nothing better to do that watch tv till the early hours..
In that order
not as great as X-Files or Due South in their prime, or My So-Called Life and Twin Peaks.
i wish i was born in 1977. i would've been better suited as a teenager of the early 90s.
