Why do people put photos of themselves and their mates on their walls? Are they going to forget what they look like or something?
it has its uses.
a list of words that I'm not allowed to use in communications.

I'm in the process of redoing my wall by my bed.
The space above my desk has cards, postcards, photos, flyers from club nights, magazine pages, cartoons, and gig tickets...
The wall above my bed is going to be covered in the same kind of stuff. It's a work in progress but it's going to be AWESOME!

I need to buy some frames for some pictures to go in the living/dining room, they're a bit empty at the moment.
The only thing I have on the walls is a calendar in the kitchen, and a framed Payang (it's a knife used in Borneo) which is going up on the landing once I get something solid enough to fix it to the wall with.
a lot of people seem to do that. weirdos.
Plus the wood carving on the case is really nice and intricate.
and he had a machine gun on the wall. I couldn't wait to get the shagging over and done with and get the hell outta there!

- That famous black & white picture of Grand Central Station in the 1930s (I think) with all the light cascading through the windows.
- A black & white picture of Times Square in 1949.

- Radiohead Victoria Park tour poster with the In Rainbows artwork on it.
- A MASSIVE poster of 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa' by Hokusai, it's about two metres wide.
- An A4 advert for Thom Yorke - The Eraser, with Cnut holding back the waves that I ripped out of some magazine ages ago.
- A small panoramic picture of a bloat of hippos in a savannah flood river that I ripped out of a copy of National Geographic I found in some hotel room.

I didnt decorated it for years before I moved out therefore it is a shrine to 1995, there are nirvana posters everywhere, bits and pieces cut out of kerrang peeling away to reveal childhood garfield stickers. Its quite embarrassing really.

on my pinboard there is: a poster of the grand canal in venice, some gig tickets/flyers, two cardboard love hearts (cut out and written on by my two favourite flatmates), a sonnet about sociology written by a friend on my behalf, a list of albums i have been recommended to listen to, a note that my mum left when she came to visit, and a flower-shaped post-it note with some phone numbers on it
when i go home over christmas and have access to a colour printer i'm going to print out some Actual Good Stuff to stick up there, it looks a bit bare and uncolourful right now
