Just had the email round today for our main one, looks like its going to be pretty damn tedious:

- Its a black tie event
- Champagne reception
- Karaoke
- Disco
- Wii winter olympics (that could be alright actually)
- Partners cocktail bar

Bit shit that all the partners at the firm get the executive lounge treatment even at the christmas do for the whole office I think, plus putting on all these 'FUN!!!' activities yet making it a black tie event seems a bit daft. I'd much rather have gone out for a decent meal then everyone can do whatever they want to in their own groups afterwards, but no, we're stuck in the office watching old lawyers attempting to sing Tom Jones songs and perving even harder than usual on their secretaries.
