and do you think its a good idea to buy someone a kitten for xmas?
and no. don't buy a kitten, unless it's a scottish fold - the only cat worth spending money on because they have funny faces. if you know they will look after the cat and they won't lose interest then get one from a rescue center.

Just look around you, pretty much any street has at least one cat on it. Whats the point of going to a 'rescue center' or a cat shop or whatever, just take one of them. They're free!

Umm, yeah, rescue centres. I got mine from there years ago, she was a year old but the best/friendliest cat in the world. My mum has her now but I really miss her!
Don't buy a cat for someone who has a life/doesn't have a neighbour who can feed it for them. Going away for weekends or having the random night staying at a mate's house nowhere near home becomes a pain in the bum if you have a cat.
or Make a Kitten.
Kittens are like humans who have tennis ball sized eyes.
