but in the room in which the child was born, 2 newborns die every hour from diseases which are easily treatable with the right facilities, so I should send some money to this charity so this woman is more likely to see her son fulfil the dreams she has for him. Now surely that's the most selfish thing ever? If a child is born into a world in which that many don't even see out the first few hours of their lives, the ones who go on to reach adulthood are the really unlucky ones? I actually tutted.
