Someone known for posting incomprehensible but still vaguely insulting/threatening bollocks just did it via PM. As far as I can tell, their reasoning was just that they do that sort of thing.
so you can keep a vague track of threads. I hate boards where the whole page is filled with new threads every few minutes. Interesting and intelligent people, who don't mind devoting half their day to puns. variety of threads, not too many arseholes.
ease of posting, no icons and daft crap clogging up the place, but most importantly it's the way it's integrated into the site structure so it's accessible from every page, and has a refreshing list of new articles available so you can also keep an eye on content.
when you'll be able to tag threads relevant to acts or previous threads to create more relevant content down the side of threads.
this (i guess) comes from (more or less) being able to write whatever you want in the forum. except when you take away my "..." threads
