Football thread again
I'm keeping up my attempt to restore this flailing institution to its past glories.
Henri Camara scores for the first time in almost 2 years to keep the relegation zone merry-go-round going as Wigan beat a recently resurgent Everton 1-0.
Lots of Champions League action tonight with Fergie unsure of whether or not to field a touch-and-go Ronaldo and Celtic in desperate need of a win to remain in Europe, albeit in a different tournament. Arsenal should be captained by Fabregas for the first time tonight.
The Man City rumour mill is in full swing with Kolo Toure, Roque Santa Cruz, Gianliugi Buffon and Lukas Podolski all being linked with big money January moves to the club. Can only see Roque happening at of those 4, IMO.
Colin Calderwood is on thin ice at Forest, whilst Ince has seemingly praised Olsson's destruction of the dressing room following his sending off at the weekend because it at least showed some passion.
Peru have been banned from featuring in any competive games (they currently sit bottom of their World Cup qualification group with 1 win in 10 games, so no great loss) and Iain Hume has being re-admitted to hospital, so all thoughts/prayers/generally positive vibes go out to him.
