Has anybody seen him around London?
And also, I want a jacket like that.
the number of shit support bands he's seen must be phenomenal
He tends to be fairly generous in his scoring.
"13 band members on stage for the first of their 2 shows at Hammersmith . trendy and critically loved but I thought their 2 hour show was the most boring event I have seen for months." 7/10
Just indiscriminately goes to anything that's "critically loved" for the sake of it.
Top 10 gigs ever...
1. Sex Pistols
3. KISS with full costumes and make up
4. AC/DC with Bon Scott or Brian Johnson
6. David Bowie
7. Rolling Stones
9. Thin Lizzy with Phil Lynott
10. Van Halen with David Lee Roth
1. Probably fun at the time
2. Truly vile
5. I liked The Joshua Tree when I was a child..no idea how I feel about it now
7. They should be put down
seems to be as low as you can score.
and he's not half as old as this guy.
'I'll go to anything' ethos
telling Buck 65 he had been to over 200 gigs or something last year. Might have been 150, but it was def a big 3-4 a week number.
bet he doesn't piss off as many people/get loved by as many bands either.
i may need some help with it though, i have a TERRIBLE memory
"Raunchy female rapper support was fun.First London Suede show for 2 years .Suede did a 90 mins set with lots of new album material and old classics .Brett sounds and looks really great . 9,25"
I was at that gig! Peaches was truly abysmal. Suede were fantastic.
"pretty average 80 mins set by this trendy New Yorker 7.5"
but his music taste seriously sucks. Plus I don't understand why he doesn't just rate bands out of 3.
I think the only worse time to grow up in your 20s than the 1980s was probably the 1910s.
I doubt he could tell me anything I'd be interested in.
