a newly discovered pasttime. Who else loves a sly afternoon kip?
I don't like to be asleep when I could be awake, doing something. But this has to change, and I've had some naps lately. They're not bad; I like them a lot more than I used to.
or just not be able to nap. But after illz this week I've gotten into really bad sleeping/napping habits. I really want one now but need to do work before I go to work.
I spend most of my life napping, then I'm awake all night.
after work, i find it a lot easier to get to sleep when i'm having a nap so sometimes i just have a nap then don't get up until morning.
It was awesome, I always have the best dreams when I'm having a nap.
"“You must sleep sometime between lunch and dinner, and no halfway measures. Take off your clothes and get into bed. That’s what I always do. Don’t think you will be doing less work because you sleep during the day. That’s a foolish notion held by people who have no imagination. You will be able to accomplish more. You get two days in one - well at least one and a half, I’m sure. When the war started, I had to sleep during the day, because it was the only way I could cope with my responsibilities.”
Personally, I've been napping early evening in front of the Neighbours/Home and Away double on Fiver. It does set you up for doing some work in the evening.
Well thats the best excuse I've heard yet.
churchill is not. eugh.
1. The regular nap = you nod off for a bit, don't quite fall into a deep sleep, wake up feeling a bit groggy and rubbish and worry the whole endeavour was a mistake, but lo! Five minutes later and you're feeling disproportionately refreshed.
2. The uber nap = sleep like a baby for about an hour and wake up feeling instantly refreshed, convinced all is right with the world. Very rare.
2. The fail nap = you wake up sort of feeling that you've been punched. Everything is slightly wrong with the world. This feeling persists for hours. Tea helps.
particularly if I'm at uni and then wake up later to do some work/eat unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much time for napping these days.
i'm so tired these days that I can feel myself succumbing, falling under under deeper at about 4pm i'm gone. not a good thing. Especially if the phenomenon of Badnap occurs, where you wake up disorientated, groggy and more tired than before you went to sleep.
cant imagine id like them, whenever i sleep for short periods i wake up feeling crappy.
then last night sleep had enough, punched me in the gut and i woke up 17 hours later
