"It can only eat from one mouth, but miaows simultaneously with both"
what a bunch a fucking dick heads
how could they! that cat is gonna have awful self esteem issues now!
It'll probably make me feel bad.
Really bad headline though.
And about the least appropriate "lol" ever.
The cat seems well and healthy, is eating and has a home. It's a bit unusual but there's nothing "sad" about it at all.
I'm sorry, but that's not going to be a good existence even if it does survive....
From the article the outlook reads as pretty positive. Unless there's a further underlying medical problem not disclosed in the article then all it means is the cat has two faces which, as I say, is obviously a bit strange but I can't see any reason it'd impact massively on its quality of life. Particularly as, so far as the cat's concerned, it's always had two faces so it's not like the cat itself would feel there was anything odd about it.
Unless I'm missing something in the article or you've got some previously undisclosed expertise in feline cogential abnormalities I'm baffled as to what basis you have for the assertion it won't have a good existence.
But how can you say there's not going to be a million problems as it grows up? Do most animals with two heads have a long and happy life? No. With things that severe it's very, very rare. The cat does not 'just have two faces'. The cat has a very severe condition which will likely, as it grows impact on quality of life A LOT. It's just basic common sense to say there'll be all kind of problems FFS - it has two freaking heads. It's desperately sad. If it seems happy and healthy, then great. But there's going to be a time, likely sooner than later where it won't.
Is this part of your ridiculous 'PocketMouse is an evil eugenicist campaign'. If someone wants to intentionally breed a kitten with two heads, is that acceptable? You're way too irrational on stuff like this. You have reasons for that, fine, but it's strange. Especially given this is a cat...
What's your basis for saying most animals with two heads don't have a long and happy life? It's true that two-headed snakes don't but that's because of fighting, disagreeing on directions to go to search for pray rather than underlying medical conditions. Conjoined human twins can live long lives. On top of which this cat has two faces rather than two heads so it's a different issue - the fact it's using one face to eat with and miaows simultaneously suggests there's one brain operating and the extra face is more of an appendage than a separate functioning entity. So, unless there's research I don't know about, there's no reason to think it can't have a healthy happy life.
And of course it wouldn't be acceptable to intentionally breed a kitten with two heads. I'm baffled as to what your point is with that one.
being called irrational by pocketmouse is like being called an anti-semite by hitler
but some cleverly 'shopped IMPACT font would make that LOL.
They should call it Harvey Dent.
FUCK ME! FREAKY AS FUCK!
not as cute.
with cats in Australia?
that one's not as cute
and NOT provide a reference point.
They're quite sweet, in a really wrong kind of way
get two pieces of string, make each head follow a piece of string in opposite direction until enough force splits the cat and they get two regular cats. then give me one cos it's real cute.
