Today I finished a 2000 essay on an Edward Thomas poem, called 'Rain'. It was the most excruciating thing ever, and it'll be thrown back at me in about a month anyway...

that's been able to wake people up from this weird illness that basically turns people into zombies or statues. I'm about half way there and I absolutely know how to write the rest and go for gold, but I just really really can't be assed. I mean if I cracked on I could have done so much by now. I might hit the 24 hour library in a bit, there's too many distractions here.
What's yours on?
an online formative assessment to complete. And 3-4 2 hour online histology practicals. I really do feel like my brains just giving in.

Was the Tsarist Regime modernising and improving life in Russia, or was the regime so bad that the revolution was simply a matter of time?

basically discuss the impact of WW1. As some historians (e.g. Richard Pipes) say that it was totally going to happen anyway and WW1 only exacerbated things.
BUT then peeps like O. Figes are like OH NOES after 1905 everything settled down and government got its bitching hand steady, so really revolution was not inevitable.
that i'm about two-thirds of the way through, but i have to go out tonight for my friend's birthday. no sleep for me, then. yay!
and finish the rest then. Easy.
"The controversy over the significance of infanticide in Chinese Demographic History"
a 4000 word essay on the effect globalization has had on developed nations labour markets. I've spent bloody ages on it too and i've got so little to show for it. I've got to somehow write another 3000 odd words before Monday. I'll be in the library all weekend :( :( :(
Something funny: Last night I dreamed I ate a ten-pound marshmallow, and when I woke up the pillow was gone [Courtesy of Tommy Cooper]. Well, I think it's funny anyhoo.
