How do you get to and from work and how much do you pay?
Just a follow-up to that other thread, really, I am intrigued.
and it costs £8
but there's a girl I fancy on it so its ok.
it costs nuffink. Having said that, i did have to buy a bike at some point.
£30 a month
you could've just put this in there.
As a follow up to a previous post
- Car, which is the best. It takes 20mins and costs around a tank of fuel every three weeks.
- Company bus, the second best. It takes 25mins and is complimentary.
- Walk, the worst but the best. It takes 45 mins and is free.
that seems fuel-efficient
Costs like £25 a week.
But fools put a jack move on me often, so occasionally I pay between 60-70 quid against my will.
Just joking, I usually kick 'em in the balls and then piss on them. Seriously. It's great to see their reactions.
for about 1/2 hour. Bristol is well hilly tho
or Sheffield, so quit moaning.
edinburgh didn't seem anywhere near as hilly as Bristol
followed by Sheffield. Truefact.
The RSPB provides a free minibus to pick people up. AMAZING. Sometimes I take the car.
i used to have to get a train, and the WALK OVER A HILL to get to where i was volunteering. although most days i got a lift with my mum, but still.
cycle (10 mins)
or more often than not
grab a lift (5 mins)
Costs me £40 odd a month but you get to mingle with all the other proles!
Are you the Incredible Hulk?
wait on platform 5 mins to dry sweat
walk other end 5 mins
Pay the same as in other thread.
it is SIX MINUTES on the train.
cost me 35p for a donut for energy.
it takes less than ten seconds. maybe 13 if i have a hangover. it doesn't cost very much.
Currently £82.50 per month.
I hope to shortly change that to cycle-train-cycle which should save me a bit (get off at an earlier stop and cycle the rest of the way - cycling 16 miles each way on a main road every day is a bit too hardcore for me).
or walk if i get up earlier.
it's great not having to rely on public transport anymore
has me to thank for paying there renewal on it, cheating fraudster cunt. Wait till the Police come round and pay you a visit sonny !
it costs about £20 in petrol a week.
it costs me alot, 1k maintenance and insurance, 500 depreciation and then petrol PA not to mention parking costs etc. probably like 3k a year.
so unless I get very lazy it will always be free :)
that cost around £45 for four weeks and are a total joke. I may as roll up the notes and stick them up a dog's arse
so it costs nothing. However, i have recently spent money on cycle lights and a helmet and i need to get my brakes sorted because they don’t work so well in the rain (which is a bit dangerous what with me living in Wales and all). Now that the clocks have changed I have to cycle home along the roads, it’s great fun avoiding idiot drivers and massive Cardiff bendy busses and cars parked in cycle lanes. I do get to shout “twat!” at people a lot, but it’s much nicer when i can just cut through the park and then the only things to avoid are the squirels and dog-walkers (I did actually see a cyclist Vs dog collision once).
The bus stop is right at the bottom of my drive too.
For £1.10? Where do you live? 2001?
where the bus fare is £1.10.
I walk to work. it takes about 25 minutes.
i just finished my kebab. time to sleep? oh yes.
You scots have it alright!
In Manc it takes 15 mins to get to my mam's from where I live in town, and it costs two bastard sixty. Greedy robbing Manc bus operating bastards!
so reasonable. and always timely.
I'LL MISS YOU NUMBER 33 GOING TO BABERTON.
I have to drive to get anywhere with much going on or where people are. When I was working or at uni I had to put about £40 in my car a week.
to walk. I need it in the morning to wake up.
helps me wind down on the way home.
it's free...apart from my podiatrist's and cobbler's bills
25 minute train (£4 peak return)
10 walk to uni.
LAME. I should really get a zone card.
costs about £25/month for petrol I guess. When I worked in town I went by bus and the bus pass is £40-something/month
if i got a bus it would be one pound
bus fare to uni (but can be used all day in the green and red zones) - £2.50
