I'm not talking all the time but just most of the time
Play some Mario Kart/scrabble/read a book/watch a dvd/listen to the radio.
Very rarely watch tv (maybe 4-5 hours a week?), but I suppose the Wii/DVD watching amount to much the same thing?
At the moment: 1-2 times a week.
there's too many cool dudes on here
If you had more money would you do more?
i like sitting in front of the tv. and i'd get spotty and grumpy if i went out much more.
also chat, cook, watch dvds, internet, read.
I like to vary my routine though, otherwise it gets a bit kissinginstockport.
Play with the troupe?
cause we don't have a tv :(
but has been more of a regular occurence as I'm trying to save cash
with cooking, cleaning, reading, playing, talking.
To hell with the rest of you.
Cook + wash up
Listen to music
Go and watch a band
Go and meet friends for a pint
I do normally watch channel 4 news though. And if Liverpool are playing I'll watch them as well.
I either play XBox (which I guess you could equate with watching TV) or read or go out or take apart keyboards and put them together in new and exciting ways or anything to avoid the shite that's on TV.
i save it up as a special treat. mostly i just go on the internet, or go to the pub.
Go home, cook tea, watch telly, no interruptions.
Bliss. Haven't really been able to have such a simple yet so rewarding pleasure in about 12 months.
but I've heard that people nowadays have too high expectations of life, so that makes me feel better
because if you are, it'd be like watching any film at the cinema just for the sake of 'going to the cinema' or going to see any shite band.
I don't watch much TV because I don't really enjoy most of what's on, but if there's something that interests me, I'll watch it without feeling like I'm wasting my evening/life.
it's mostly shit, but you just pick the best thing that's on
At least you can choose something that you want rather than being forced into picking the best of a bad bunch.
"I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book."
and I keep taking out shit books that I lose interest in
if you enjoy it go for it. If you're spending 2 hours a night channel surfing and getting nothing out of it (not necessarily the case, OK) then you should probably think about if you'd like to get something out of an evening.
I find the occasional nothing night really nice, like a system reboot or something. I find I prefer to watch a DVD boxset rather than TV though - I think the only 'live' TV I watch is sport (or the news and countdown at work tea breaks. And lately Midsomer Murders)
Speaking of which, are you getting an XBox then? :P
I've just had my second banking catastrophe in 2 months (nothing for years and then WHAM..oh you're OK again well haVE SOME OF THIS! WALLOP!). Sorted it out today though.
I'm definitely gonna wait for blood bowl to come out before I buy one, then try and pick one up second hand. I haven't played on my PS2 for months.
and you'll have a little bit off the XBox :P
not sure who would buy our piece of shit PS2 though
it'll definitely go :)
and pretend to be in The Foals
I need to have a bit more time not doing stuff though. Haven't done much guitaring for a couple of weeks, when I do get some time at home I have to use it to do crap like washing/drying etc.
DAMN YOU INSTRUMENT NAPPER. YOUR TIME WILL COME.
also: no deal
and drank awful beer
I do have a TV, but I basically watch it when I get home around 11pm or so, just to put me to sleep.
I truly need to spend more time in... but I can never seem to manage it!
because i am usually tired, and always skint. so TV is the best option. and i like TV. so win all round.
I resent the internet, as its endless distractions prevent me from watching as much TV as I'd like.
I think i am missing out on the internet so leave tv and then the internet is utter shite but I find it difficult to leave.
and i don't have a sofa, so neither is particularly conducive to tv watching. same goes for rarely having time due to the vast number of things i'd much rather be doing.
