Oh god, this was terminally hilarious last night.
(sorry if this was already posted)
I saw that. everyone in the room went "OOOOOH BITCH GOT SERVED" when he's like "it's your turn".
*or love obama?
went to a friends house and watched it on tv. Highlights included:
When obama in his speech was all "My best friend, The Rock....", as if he was friends with The Rock.
and of course the bbc election centre WOOOSH flying screens and walkways
that bit at the start of that video was great, when the confetti came down and the guy just stood there all joyless. ", David."
who'd have thought teviot would be so busy? It's like politics is cool or something. Is that the difference having a black candidate makes?
I guess people just want to have something to remember when they're asked "where were you on X day?".
'pparently they kicked everyone out at 3 or something. I thought they advertised it as the bar closing at 3 and it going on till early morning. Pretty weird.
they turned off the televisons.
what was the point in that? It's not like we were going to find out the results for hours...
so that makes me feel a lot better.
everyone should have parties for the glenrothes by-election tomorrow. that's would ROCK!
is gore vidal drunk? and what on earth is he talking about?
"it's your turn" was quite funny, mind.
Vidal was just trying to score points.
Worth staying up for x a million.
Gore Vidal is probably the coolest person in the world right now. "I don't know why you're asking me, because I know too much about it." YES!
Should fuck off gracefully.
His sensationalism was funny when he actually had something to say (debate with William F. Buckley after the 1968 Chicago riots was fantastic), but the guy doesn't make sense any more.
what a bore.
dimble bimble wins that for me
(also see: john bolton)
oh how we laughed.
take that news and your funny ways of showing something
telling Dimbleby to sack one reporter, getting in an argument with another and generally fuming at the ignorance of all the deluded lefties he was surrounded by in the studio.
and was slagging off and suggesting Dimbleby (who has the powers) to immediately sack an interviewer.
If this is the former UN Envoy John Bolton we're talking about, I can guess that his time on the BBC was spent fighting a personal war against the liberal communist bias of the BBC.
I wish there was a studio full of people like that last night
