i've just realised i drink cups of tea using my left hand. wacky.
Right hand is the dominant, biscuit dunking, claw.
I'm right handed, but despite throwing with my right-hand, I've always bowled left-handed in cricket. Which is why I've always been a shit bowler - there's no power or accuracy in this bloody left arm.
"I'm right handed but...."
with hilarious results.
I'm left-handed but I eat my dinner, play pool and bowl a cricket ball right-handed. Alright?
Do you bat left handed in cricket?
Because then you are just like me :D
They just can't handle me. Especially my attempted switch hits.
'I can bowl right handed, surely, I can bat right handed as well, right...?'
*switches stance, falls over, wildly swings while on the way down, knocks over own stumps with flailing limbs*
At least youve never attempted to hit it like a right hander, then fallen over onto the stumps with the middle one poking/ hitting/ assaulting you in the groin region.
Not that this has ever happened to me *looks around shiftily*
this hot chocolate isnt as nice as it was last week
its probably down to evoloutionary conservation of your strongest hand. I.e. tea = hot, so you pick it up with the hand that you would preferentially want to be damaged. Its the same reason you pick up glass etc with your left hand (if you dont do this, my theory = destroyed). Another potential theory is to do with sensitivity. I.e. you use your right hand more, thus the sensory receptors get desensitised to particular low level sitmuli, or become lazy in regards to detection of degree of stimulus strength, the left hand is arguably more sensitive to the stimulus so its more accurate in telling your brain wether the tea is too hot to drink etc.
I personally would go with my first explanation.
"my mouse is being used by my right hand"
I feel like what it must feel like to have been raped, only of knowledge, not my dignity and gametes.
I'm left-handed but I catch with my right hand. Thinking about it though, this is probably normal, as it allows me to throw with my left hand. Is it normal? Like bamos, I also eat in a right-handed fashion, i.e. with knife in my right hand and fork in my left. For this reason, I struggle to eat with a fork and spoon, as I yearn to have both my fork and my spoon in my left hand. I therefore invariably end up eating with just a spoon (if such a utensil is required).
is the official way of eating right handed.
but thats because its not a "handed" way of eating. its ettiquette. i eat the other way round, but i think its the right handed way round myself. fork in right hand.
I hold my cutlery like a left handed weirdo
point at an object in the middle distance so that your index finger is covering said object. then wink with each eye in turn. whichever eye sees your finger closer to the target object is your dominant eye.
Kind of funny how they used to make kids switch to right-handed writing, regardless of whether it was their natural inclination.
My grandmother was forced to do this and as a result her handwriting to this day is the worst I've ever seen. Not just unreadable, but actually UGLY to look at on the page too.
but always used my left hand for various regular tasks, to the point where i was massively inconvenienced when i got a cast on my left arm once and had to learn to use my right for those things. it was like i was 5 again.
How tall are you meths?
How tall is Smee?
is it set the first time they use their hands for things?
