for £900, im still unsure whether this was a good idea or not yet.
what has been your most extravagant purchase?
Fuck that - what book is this?
Christie's pidgin algebra.
if you can't...
wtf book is it?
its not even a real book!! Me not having been to sleep since yesterday may have had an impact on this impulse purchase.
you spent £900 on an ebook? or was that meant to say £9.00?
and more pertinently stop having a million different usernames
and then am going to turn off the internet and work
its only a 100 pages long aswell. Its gonna make me rich though(hopefully)
I need to know!
it will just be a letdown
honestly I really need to work and now this is holding me back. It's frustrating me to new levels.
I know it's made at least one person rich already.
TELL US THE NAME OF THE DAMN BOOK, YOU CHODE-MUNCHING GRANNY HOARDER.
tell me what book it is and I guarantee I'll be able to find it and put it up on rapidshare for you.
until i realised no one is gonna spend £900 on a book and then release it on the internet
everyone chips in $10-20 and then they buy it and upload it
but that would be for some popular release(not costing $1800)not for some obscure book that probably less than 180 people would even want.
but the time from me geting it to it becoming widely available is worth paying for it
The book cost you $1800?
If so, I'm sad to inform you that the £/$ ratio has changed signifcantly since you last checked. And ney in your favour.
i just estimated at $1800
is actually way off
what book is it?
Is it made of gold?
first edition of what?
sadly the book isnt really that interesting, just the pricetag
is it the book of the dead or some shite for all that mulla?
this has taken on a disproportionate meaning in my battle of procrastination versus work
including keyboard overlay and novella.
The classics will never die.
not sure what book this chap bought though
That's if you have the UPMOST confidence in you not 'jacking it in'
cos it only costs about £20 for super system but yeah, you pretty much have the right idea. I paid £900 for a book on poker.
to be fair though, if it earns you the dough it'll be bargain.
but no i dont think it will be a rip off, it costs £900 for a reason.
on the TV at the WSOP in two years, with two blonde bombshells on each arm.
the blondes will probably be hookers tbh though
to pay for them.
because it's a rip off?
but no. The book will pay for itself
its ok guys, i know what im doing, ive not been conned.
But poker is just maths, memory and dumb luck. Learning your way around that wouldn't be worth £900; not to me.
theres skill and tactics too
i suppose if you are successful then yeah it is a good purchase.
i doubt i will regret it though
so as absurd as this does indeed sound, he probably has some vague idea of what he's doing
but it relates to how much the information is worth. if i hire a poker coach for an hour i have to match how much they would make playing poker unless it wouldnt be worth their time, so i have to pay £200+p/hr. If i want to hire the guys that write this book then i have to pay £500p/hr. If this book can teach me to learn a fraction of what they know then it will increase my hourly win rate, making it easily worth it.
