I'd have to say the granite mortar and pestal I picked up from there last year.
TK Maxx is a great, great shop.

some bit kae rand trousers reduced from £200 to £30
and i came very close to buying a stunning Alexander McQueen dress for just under £100
my god they're incredible. AND you can buy a reasonably priced kitchen clock while you're there
The one in Byker used to sell Barcelona chairs and chaise-lounges.
I've not been to one down in London yet, I'm assuming there is one. I don't want it to be some sort of Wilkinsons scenario and there isn't one..
we've got Wilkinson's and TK Maxx - you would have the time of your life.
I've been planning to go there for ages. My friend bought a cashmere jumper for £50 there a couple of weeks ago. Looks pretty good.
some friends live near wood green, I feel a TK Maxx and cinema trip coming on. Quantum Of Solace? DAMN RIGHT
Let's not sully the boards now
the majority of stuff is rubbish. I just seem to have a photographic memory when it comes to certain designers collections meaning i can spot something decent a mile off, dash over squeeling slightly knocking out all those in my path. And yeah, the manchester one is pretty good, although the chloe came from Portsmouth's one.
I'm shopping for designer dress bargains!
they're well kung fu
includes magnifying glass, various nets and traps, petri dishes, book etc. £20. True, I've never used it but the kitsch-ness was too hard to resist.
it was my favourite t-shirt for ages, I wore it to destruction in the end.
a nice big pink casserole with lid and a lasagne type dish.
that is some big pimpin' goods right there. I got a nice set of kitchen scales from there once too
made out of some incredibly soft, stretchy material. It's awesome. A little too dazzling though: I had to take it out of circulation after 7 different people asking me if I was gay. On the same night. Seven. I didn't even know these people.
I once saw the most inexplicable item of clothing in TK MAXX: a leather jacket with a picture of two cockrels on the back bearing the legend "COCK FIGHT REVOLUTION!" Not buying that jacket is one of my biggest regrets.
its pretty nice
40 quids instead of 200.
but i inherited a beautiful pair of diesel jeans from my brother that came from there originally. nicest jeans i've ever owned. i miss them.
reduced to £20. had them a fortnight then promptly left them in a taxi the day after a wedding. could have cried. they had their own case and everything. :(
it's fucking shit. i don't get the attraction to them at all.
less people and yeah, kind of villagey. plus there's a whole foods :')
it's actually really cool, though, just typing that made me feel disgusted with myself.
it was like 15 squid.
