Here's a bit of history, and i will cut a long story short. I have worked four days this tax year before starting as a full time lifeguard. I gave them my p45 which was sent off to the company's head office on August 29th. Head office failedto forward my p45 to mr tax man so my tax code was a BR code which is emergency tax....My gross pay was £1645 and my net was £1073.....what a fucking joke.
So the finance lady is saying i can get a full rebate because i have mostly been in full time education or unemployed this tax year therefore i whould not have been taxed as much. Head office sent a copy of my p45 to the tax man electronically this afternoon after a very angry phonecall form me and then mr taxman said i have to wait until monday as it takes two days to process on the computer!
I'm going out of my mind..i wish my tax code would change and i could get my money back..or at least some of it!
