A girl I like quite a lot quoted me Laura Marling, saying that I had "lost my poetic ethic".

I want to come up with a strong lyrical retort, can people help me out?

Roughly keeping in with any of these themes: someone being lusted after by multiple people (in a vaguely respectful manner though); or of a girl being on a pedestal above everyone else; or of awkward shyness towards a beautiful girl; or of one needing to sort out their own affairs first; or of someone having weak music taste.
