When someone of limited musical knowledge asks you 'so, what music do you listen to then?', and after a good 10 seconds+ of mentally sifting through bands and going 'nope, you won't have heard of that one, or have a clue', you end up having to give a really bland, boring, slightly predictable answer?

I answer arctic monkeys. having said that, I know of people in my social circle who havent even heard of the clash.........
