Apparently people in Liverpool weren't overly impressed with it
It can't be THAT bad, surely?
there was a thread on it the other day in which everyone agreed
given the amount of bad shit people are saying about it..
"He will 71% complete his tour"? It's like something out of brass eye.
see what I did there.
See, why pay £30 to see Coogan when you can get shite comedy here for free?
you got whipped there Ricky_Ronco
A cream slice and I would have bowed and admitted defeat
gonna be a good idea spending £40 on a stand up tour 10 years after the event. I took some persuading, now I'm regretting my purchase before I've even gone.
based on former and not recently equalled glories...hopefully it proves worthwhile.
though not a tranny.
remember it being rather funny. details evade me though.
were at a stand up gig in a tiny pub a couple of weeks ago, and Eddie Izzard turned up as the special guest performer. sounds like it was a warm up for his forthcoming tour - they said it was hilarious, but then they may just have been overcome by the fact they were unsuspectingly thrust to within feet of one of their all time comdey heroes
left it alone because he was becoming a bit stale, hopefully he's rediscovered his form. Bit like Robbie Keane will for Liverpool as the season goes on.
In all fairness, he needs a good long while to ramble and build up a joke and I've only see him do 5-10 minute slots in the last few years.
because I've heard the program is really good, you get a calendar and christmas cards and everything. Surely this will be worth the £30 ticket price if nothing else.
I think something ridiculous like 8 quid. I bought a Partridge mug though which is pretty decent.
whats on your mug?
and his signature. Alan looks really old and actually deformed though which is a bit odd. They did promotional ones around the time of the first IAP series. Wish I had one of those.
they should do them
it would make my life complete. I think the nearest they got was Tshirts of the blazer and badge.
An Alan mask would be good too.
I hope you enjoy the show. It is truly awful but it was still worth going to for the few moments of excellence.
sorry. I still think it's worth going to though.
im due to go see him in newcastle in december
Hopefully he's got his sh*t together by that point.
is a bit like buying a tin of spaghetti hoops and complaining that all that was inside was some circular pasta shapes in a tomato sauce, isn't it?
it's nothing like that, because Steve Coogan is one of the best British comedians of the last 10 years?
mate of mine once tried to convince me that Def Leppard are the greatest live act of the last 50 years.
I didn't believe him, either
AND I WANT! AND I NEED! AND I LUST! ANIMAL!
We were drunk. Only one of us was serious. It wasn't me
I agree with you.
