The issue of Liverpool fans and the trip to Athletico Madrid is quite interesting isn't it?
It seems finally UEFA take tough action on racism and everyone complains that they're inconveniencing fans so they must feel a bit damned if they do and damned if they don't. I guess what they should have done is made sure the disciplinary process was as quick as possible but I don't know how long these things take. The short notice isn't great but then the punihsmnet should apply in these season's competition (and argubaly directly in the group stage) otherwise Marseille (was it Marseille? I've typed this from memory of who the team were away at Madrid when it happened) would have experienced all the abuse but other teams would have been advantaged by the punishment.
In other news is this the most pointless article ever?
Of course Neville said "I hope not". Clearly he'd hope Man Utd'd win it...
