Quick work-morals question

MirriLondon [Edit] [Delete] 22:51, 13 October '08

My (new) boss is in NY for the rest of this week and I've agreed to manage her diary from home until 10pm UK time for the rest of this week. This means being logged on remotely from home, cancelling a gig because it'll be impossible to do anything from a blackberry (and quite frankly what kind of turd has a blackberry out during a gig anyway?) and having to make my parents who are over from France come to me while still checking stuff when they're here.

In theory this could be as little as fifteen minutes of work a night, but if I'm not here I actually can't do anything.

Do I charge precisely for the time I actually do work or do I charge for the full four hours that I've had to stay at home to potentially sort this stuff out?

I get paid in 15 minute chunks btw.
