Domain Name help! (webcentric)
Hi, my co.uk domain is about to expire... I'm offered either renewal with my current registrar (namesco) for £20 or direct to nominet for £94 (ha ha!) for two more years. Thing is, namesco stick horrible pop ups everywhere and I don't want them. What can I do to get rid of the pop ups, and renew at the best price? What'd you do, fellow geeks!

yeah, it's sadly true...
they came up with the co.uk bit, that's what I have to pay for!
You can renew anywhere you like
so long as the domain belongs to you. I personally use http://www.easyspace.com/ (laziness since it's where I've had my domains for about 5/6 years now)
Just choose whichever registrar you like and find the "transfer domain" link.

pop ups from a domain name registration sounds a bit odd
more likely they come from whoever is hosting the server your site is on
Is your site hosted with namesco too?
If all they do is host your domain name, the pop-ups won't be from them...
i used
123reg for didierblogba. it was only a tenner for the first year.
