and put them to the band
which order do you do them in?
The tin says three minutes, but I think that's excessive with an 850 watt microwave. Also, ask them if they have any soup they could give me.
wasn't it? That dog the Russians sent up. Or was it a monkey? I think it was Laika
I remember now! It was fruit flies!
Really? What a rubbish thing to send into space! All that time and money to send fruit flies up there. Pfft. I'd send a water buffalo up or something if I was in charge. Which is why I'm not in charge.
they react to certain things in a very human-like way.
Plus their spunks are like 20 times the length of their own body :D
Whilst the youth of today are wasting away in classrooms learning "algebra" and other such bollockry, they could be learning useful information like this!
but it's substantially bigger. Imagine doing a spunk the size of Geoff Capes.
I wonder how they react in a human like way. Like, if you presented them with loads of washing up to do they just sit on the couch and watch telly instead of getting on with it
I bet she poo'd all over the place as well
I couldn't help it
which is weird because cheese and onion is vegetarian. am i right??? what do i win???
since they changed the flavours earlier this year. Before that they weren't though, which was madness. I could eat the smokey bacon ones, but not cheese and onion. Also, non-vegetarian cheese, what's that about?
but I have seen them. They come in a yellow / orange packet
as everyone thinks they are?
and then come crawling back 3 months later, saying how wrong he was?
of montreal just leave me absolutely cold. i keep trying to like them, and just don't see anything to get excited about at all.
They're a second rate Scissor Sisters with a nothing but that one long song they wig out with at the end to get me interested.
I have NEVER seen a man be more wrong. Not even Hitler.
But I think that he sounds more like Mika, rather than the Scissor Sisters. The Past Is A Grotesque Animal is terrific though.
The last song is my most listened to song of the year I reckon. The new one is... labyrinthine.
Hissing Fauna was the first Of Montreal album that contained anything that I could listen to more than once. The first half is bearable and occasionally reaches a level of craft that is quite exquisite (e.g. the harmonies on Gronlandic Edit, and the zip of A Sentence Of Sorts), then The Past Is A Grotesque Animal blows everything away with its immature, snarling, relentless brilliance, before the remainder of the album descends to into a horrid, nasty, sub-Mika whining irritation.
I really don’t understand the devotion he inspires from lots of people.
after grotesque animal it's just boring. there's only an ep worth of songs there.
there are still two good songs after grotesque
to get a quality blow job?
deciding to write and recording the last 4 albums on his own.
Ask him to turn the synths and sequenced stuff up a bit when they play live, they are always so quiet.
Ask him about this whole georgie fruit persona.
Ask him about the different stages of the band in terms of sonwriting (oMM2 story telling etc.)
Ask him about dustin hoffman
Ask them why they are called of montreal when they arent, because it will probably annoy them
are all about Dustin Hoffman's adventures with the soap in the bathtub. Well worth listening to.
I've seen it and didn't even know. Don't think it did Beta Band much good, did it.
but there was an Of Montreal poster on the wall (or maybe the end of his record rack) by the front door so every time he entered and exited his apartment - hey presto! an Of Montreal ad
ask them about how much getting played on Cloverfield helped their career.

and have an apple in my right hand.
Where does that put Holland?
of or Of?
and stuff. I wish I'd gone into morals, but I chickened out of making it a totally indulgent article and talked about funk and musical direction.
He's great, really sharp, polite, accommodating, articulate.
or when I get back if not. It's for http://www.tlobf.com
I wanted to go and say hello, but I sort of knew I shouldn't. Never meet musicians you like, etc etc.
Chatting to Ahmed at the bar.
"Rock and Roll" or "Come On", instead of "Worms Sleep In Virtual Sidings"?
