What's the difference between Michael Jackson and Gary Glitter?

I'll tell you what: one is still treated with artistic respect and is believed by many, to be innocent. One is treated like a witch in the 17th century.

BUT WHY? Jacko: got in trouble with it before, and 'settled it outside of court'. Its not like he tried to clear his name or anything. Got in trouble with it again, and just gradually scraped through.

Glitter: got accused of it by Vietnamese people who lied to him about the age of consent. Got tried in courts where death is still a reasonable penalty. Came home and is universally detested by everybody.

This is foolish. You can play Jacko on the radio, but you can't play Gary. This is UNFAIR. I hope Glitter gets cleared and sues all the papers for trillions.
